• The procedure is carried out on a disassembled counter.
• 9 wires should be soldered to the appropriate points shown in the pictures.
• Such an operation is necessary when it is not possible to access the meter directly through the OBD connector.
• If we do not have a valid key for the counter, then in most types of counters any operations through the OBD connector are prohibited. However, in order to be able to program such a clock, we must use the J-tag Micronas programmer to read the secret S-Key.
• To do this, after starting X-CAN and selecting the VW 06/2006… option, on the J-Tag function tab, press the Read S-Key button.
• After a while, we will be asked to enter the name of the file.
• After saving it to a file, we can load it later using the Load S-Key option. From this moment, we have full access to the counter and all its functions.
